• Spicy Kerala Chicken Roast


    Chicken 1 Kg
    Tomato 3 nos.
    Onion - chopped 7 nos.
    Garlic 10 nos.
    Ginger 1 piece
    Green Chillies 4 nos.
    Tomato Sauce 1 tbsp
    Chilli Powder 11 tbsp
    Coriander Powder 3 tbsp
    Turmeric Powder ¼ tsp
     Peppr Powder 2 tsp
    Curry Leaves 2 stalks
    Lime Juice 4 tsp
    Oil 2 tbsp



    1.Marinate the chicken pieces with lime juice and 1 tsp. of pepper powder for 1/2 hour.
    2.Make a fine paste of 1 tbsp of chilly powder,1/4 tsp of turmeric powder by adding enough water and again marinate the chicken pieces for 1/2 hour.
    3.Heat oil in a pan and deep fry chicken pieces and keep aside.
    4.Heat oil in another pan and add onion,stir till golden brown.
    5.Add garlic,green chillies and ginger,stir till slightly brown.
    6.Add remaining chilly powder,turmeric powder,corainder powder and salt to taste.Stir for 2 minutes.
    7.Add tomatoes and curry leaves keep stiring.When it becomes thick gravy add tomato sauce.
    8.Finally add fried chicken pieces and mix well.Simmer for about 5 minutes.
    9.Remove from fire and serve it.
