• Kerala Chicken Meat Balls


    Ground chicken- 500gms
    Onion- ½ cup (finely chopped)
    Garlic- 2 pods (minced)
    Breadcrumbs- ½ cup
    Parmesan cheese- ½ cup (grated)
    Egg- 1
    Black pepper powder- 1tsp
    Butter- 1tbsp



    1.Preheat oven to 360 degrees.
    2.In a skillet, melt butter over medium flame. Cook chopped onion and minced garlic in it for 4-5 minutes, until the onion becomes tender and golden brown. Once done, put the pan off flame and keep it in a large bowl.
    3.Add beaten egg, breadcrumbs, cheese, salt and pepper powder in the bowl. Mix well with a spoon. Now add chicken and mix with hands.
    4.Wet your palms and make round meatballs. Keep the meatballs on a plate.
    5.Grease a baking dish with olive oil and then place the meatballs. Keep them separately so that they do not stick with each other.
    6.Bake the meatballs for 20 minutes and check that the meatballs are thoroughly cooked. Take the meatballs out of the oven after it is baked completely.
