• Chettinad Spicy Chicken Fry


    chicken - 1 kg
    salt - to taste
    turmeric powder - ½ tsp
    oil - 6 tbsp
    onions - 2 cups, chopped
    tomatoes - ¾ cup, chopped
    fennel - 1 tsp
    red chilies - 10-15 broken into pieces



    1.Clean chicken and cut into bite size pieces.
    2.Rub with salt and turmeric.
    3.When onions are light brown add tomatoes and chicken and fry well
    4.Sprinkle hot water as and when necessary, using as little as possible
    5.When chicken is well cooked, remove from the fire.
